BEATING THE WINTER BLUES WITH OLLY

does anyone else really feel the winter blues right around february? we're so close to spring, yet it's still so far away. its always the worst when mother nature throws you a bone and it's 60 degrees one day, then snowing the next! such a tease! over the years, i've learned how to beat these blues with some easy tips, + today [in partnershp with OLLY nutrition!] i'm sharing them with you!

TIP #1 - CREATE A COZY SPACE

i spend a lot of time in my bedroom, and to keep my sanity, i try to make sure it's always clean. it's basically a safe haven for me, and i want to make sure it's a place free of stress + full of relaxation.

TIP #2 - DO YOUR MAKEUP

i tend to find that i'm always in a better mood when my lips have a little color, my lashes are darker, + my blemishes are covered. it's a simple fix and gives those freezing february days some purpose. i use pretty much all drugstore brands, but i just ordered boy brow from glossier and I'M IN LOVE. so so good. 

TIP #3 - SPEND SOME CASH ONLINE SHOPPING

i'll admit - i'm a true online shopping addict. i love getting packages in the mail. this might not work for everyone, but i find that ordering things online totally brightens my mood! it gives me something to look forward to, and the introduction of a new item into my everyday routine is a game changer too!

TIP #4 - STAY ORGANIZED 

if you've been following along for some time now, you'd know that i'm basically OCD. i'm super organized, and planning things out might be one of my favorite things to do. i've been using ban.do's daybook planners for about two years now, and i love them. it totally helps to have something tangible to use to manage your time + organize your life!

TIP #5 - FOCUS ON YOUR HEALTH
